It might be because I’m from a small town that has its local heroes, or it could be because Ethan Goss is an absolute work horse, but “The Wolverine” has been the center of quite a few wars of attrition.
The first time that I saw Goss fight, he was in the middle of a bout between two rival gyms and was very impressive in his showing. Goss had suffered an unintentional groin foul and still came back to be victorious by decision. The amateur career of “The Wolverine” was electric; including a rubber match with “The Raging Bull” Rich Cantolina, a series of fights that put Altoona on the map of the Pittsburgh shot callers. Ethan Goss would make statements and a name for himself throughout the Complete Devastation MMA, World Cagefighting Championships, Pinnacle FC, and Gladiators of the Cage promotions. A true testament to his “all challengers welcome” approach to combat was when he accepted a title fight against Cody “Lenny” Karlheim; the title fight would be contested an entire weight class above his regularly scheduled bout to allow Karlheim adequate time to make weight.
“The Wolverine” has an up and coming professional career, already boasting a televised win for King of the Cage (KOTC), as well as title fight experience for World Cagefighting Championships, and expanding further into the Ohio Valley.
