Valley Fight League Rebounding From Altoona Disaster; VFL 43 to Take Place in October

VFLLogoJuly 19th, 2013 is a night that may very well live in infamy, especially to the men and women, the fight fans, of the Logan Valley. The Jaffa Mosque throw down was scheduled to have twelve MMA fights and at bell time, only three were given the green light to go by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission.

July 19th was dripping in the worst-case-scenarios that any fight promotion could have expected: contract disputes, guys not making weight and the State Athletic Commission not approving guys to fight. Fighters were angry, fans were angry and the media had the difficult job of having to report on the downturn of an event that they had very high hopes for.
